candidate must fit one of the following criteria:

• Serves or has served as a community leader.
• Is a Rotary Foundation alumnus.

What about the attendance requirement?
Attendance at weekly meetings is something Rotarians take very seriously. All Rotary Club members must
attend or make up at lea st half of their regular club meetings.
At tending weekly club meetings enables members to enjoy their club’s fellowship, enrich their professional
and personal knowledge and meet ot her business leaders in their community .
if a member must miss his or her own club’s meeting, they are encouraged to expand their Rotary horizons
by attending make-up meetings at any Rota ry club in the world. Your Rotary member ship guarantees a warm
welcome in communities around the globe. In fact, there are Rotary clubs meeting nearly every business day
in the Greater Baton Rouge area .

Rotarians can also make up meetings by participating in a club service project , a club board meeting or a
